Ron Paul and Mike Gravel: Two badass candidates

With the first round of partisan debates for the 2008 presidential election over, it appears that once again we're going to get stuck with shitty candidates from both major parties. Only one Democrat and one Republican don't seem like they're trying to bullshit their way into office, and neither has the financial backing to win his party's nomination. I've already told you about Republican candidate Ron Paul:

These guys kick ass. Even though they won't make the ballot, at least their appearances on nationally televised debates will challenge public opinion and party policy. When are people going to pry their heads out of their asses and stop voting for crooks, liars, and sellouts?
