Take 3

Welcome to the Minimum Tempo podcast! Today is September 30th, and you know what that means, right lolikit?

IcyStorm, while you’re setting up for a retake, let me remind you to backup this recording, just in case your hard drive fails.

Hard drive failure is no laughing matter. 1 of out 14 hard drives fail within 1 year of manufacture. Don’t become a statistic – backup your data.

Take 4

Welcome to the Minimum Tempo podcast! Today is September 30th, and you know what that means, right lolikit?

The 30th – I mean – “today” is the official R1 release date of the Aria Season 1 DVD box set!

That’s right! Today my guests, lolikitsune, Baka-Raptor, and nekosasu, are here to discuss Aria. Unfortunately, TheBigN couldn’t make it.

I’m right here πŸ™‚

I’d like to start off my asking my guests why they love Aria. How about you, lolikit?

Well, it’s…it’s just so beautiful! Like, the characters…and the setting…ummm…wonderful…utopia…wonderful…

It’s hard to verbalize why we love Aria; we just know that we do.

That’s so true! Baka-Raptor, have I ever told you how much I love you?

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways:
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, — I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! — and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Hazukashii serifu kinshi!

Next question: Baka-Raptor, what do you think fans can do to spread their love of Aria?

…assuming that’s not a viable option, anything else?

Since Aria is a slice-of-life show, it may be hard to promote based on content alone. Perhaps the best way to get people to watch Aria is to show them how passionate the fans are. For example, RunningKid did a series of posts about his “pilgrimmage” to Venice.

So did I!

RunningKid’s pictures were breathtaking!

So were mine!

And also…

Baka-Raptor’s connection seems to be down at the moment.

Now’s my chance to admit to liking questionable shows without being embarrassed in front of Baka-Raptor. I like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, and El Cazador de la Bruja! Man, that was liberating.

…and that’s why Alicia would make an awesome Claymore!

Sorry Baka-Raptor, we didn’t catch any of that. And that’s all the time we have for today!

My hard drive failed and I can’t recover any of the data. Which… means the podcast is gone. Sorry about this o_o thanks for taking the time to do it though. It was a good experience for me, anyway. Maybe some other time in the future…
