Less than a month after watching the Heaven’s Feel movie, I found myself back at the movie theater for Violet Evergarden. While Heaven’s Feel had a slightly higher death count, Violet Evergarden had slightly more drama, to the point that every girl in the theater was crying throughout the entire movie.
What’s the best modern isekai anime through one season? Sword Art Online? Log Horizon? Re:Zero? KonoSuba? DanMachi? I’d say the runaway favorite is That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime. The show is as good as the title is unappealing.
